Our approach is paramedic centred event work and we extend this to education through student participation in the process of medical assessments and treatments. Learn by doing.

EMS Event Medical was formed in an effort to meet the growing demand for professional quality event medical services for those needing quality medical personnel at their venues and events. 

We have for over thirty years’ experience; we have worked at events for other companies as contractors and now we provide services under our own banner.

To EMS Event Medical I am writing to you, to thank you so much for helping me on Sunday night at Vivid. My experience started with a simple request for some plasters for a stubbed toe after one too many wines at dinner. I was quickly supplied with the requested plasters by a wonderful lady at your reception (she was in purple uniform please say thank you). I was offered a seat and was prepared to apply these myself. However, this gesture was followed by the offer to clean my wound, dress it and apply the plasters for me. This was done by of all people? the EMS Medical Director (it said that on his shirt). His caring and professional attitude made me feel at ease throughout my visit to the medical tent. But my experience didn’t stop there!! During my treatment whilst sitting at the medical tent, a team of medics brought an elderly lady into the medical area via a wheel chair, she had a team of two or three looking after her; they handed over to the medical team in the tent via the medical director who had been previously treating me. What impressed me the most as a Nurse; is the setup and the amount of quality professional equipment and staff you had on board, I noted with interest that a full set of observations were conducted including SPO2, BP, Temp, Pulse, Resps, BSL’s and a 12 lead ECG – the room even had a trauma bed with a patient monitor, Oxygen, IV lines and IV start up kits ready to go WOW. The way the team handled this elderly lady was amazing, and so professional - blankets a cool drink etc these people know their stuff. You would normally only see this level of care and expertise at a hospital ED, but no! I was witnessing an ED experience right here in Sydney at the Vivid medical centre. You guys are a credit to yourselves, your profession and please pass on to your Teams and the Vivid Sydney organisers my thanks for having this level of care available to me and the public throughout the event.

Event Medical Nurses are licensed and experienced in advanced assessments and clinical care. Our team of Nurses are commonly deployed to Festivals, Concerts, School Functions, large competitions and much more. As with all of our staffing options, Event Medical Nurses arrive ready to serve and equipped with the right equipment for your event. Event Paramedics provide Advanced Life Support (ALS). Through their clinical experience and advanced training they offer total solutions to all scene management and treatment of all patients with advanced level medications and equipment. Event Paramedics are registered by AHPRA and can be equipped with IV supplies, multiple medications and various airway adjuncts. EMTs are the backbone of any healthcare service. These professionals provide basic assessment skills, treatment of wounds and illnesses plus AEDs and Oxygen. Our event EMTs are current students in their chosen field and undergo a vetting process before serving you. EMTs are great for providing affordable first response triage and basic life support services.

What we do?
OUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE MAY SAVE SOMEBODY’S LIFE We offer University trained Paramedics, Nurses, EMT's and Doctors for your Venue or Event. EMS Event Medical can therefore treat more appropriately on-site, heavily reducing Triple Zero (000) ambulance calls and referrals to hospital from your events, providing treatment whilst awaiting the arrival of State Ambulance Services. Our Teams are some of the highest trained in the industry, incredibly passionate about what they do. Our medics come from an incredibly wide range of backgrounds with minimum training being the Bachelor of Paramedical Science/Practice or the Diploma of Paramedical Services. EMS Event Medical provide the capability to fully assess and monitor patients which is incredibly vital when dealing with potential medical emergencies as well as alcohol and drug intoxication.
